Congratulations to the 2017 Corporate Citizenship Film Festival Finalists!

The public voting has closed and YOU have chosen the top nine finalists for 2017. Thank you to all the companies that entered. The Corporate Citizenship Film Festivalpresented by FedExis proud to honor excellence in corporate citizenship and recognize your important work.

The winner of each category, including a special award for Fan Favorite (based on votes) and Best in Show (based on overall excellence in storytelling, production, and the connection of corporate citizenship to business value) will be announced at the 2017 International Corporate Citizenship Conference, held in Boston March 26-28.

As a global leader in the sporting goods industry, the adidas Group recently redesigned its sustainability journey into a “4Ps” model emphasizing people, product, planet, and partnership. Now, as part of its mature chemical management program, the company will screen and manage chemical input at the supplier level through a recent partnership with bluesign technologies, a company dedicated to sustainable movement within textile industries.

Hershey’s Learn to Grow builds opportunities for cocoa farmers through evidence-based learning and innovative solutions

More than two million cocoa farmers in West Africa and more than 10 million West Africans depend on cocoa for a significant portion of their livelihoods. Both climate change and shifts in demand have gravely impacted the industry in this region, creating the need for companies with operations in the region to invest in the long-term sustainability of local cocoa farmers. According to Andy McCormick, Senior Director of Cocoa Sustainability at The Hershey Company, projects designed to improve farmer production and raise incomes need to be at sufficient scale.
